Eddie Lacy Will Reportedly Skip Alabama Pro Day Due to Hamstring Tightness

NFL scouts will continue to have to wait to see Eddie Lacy in a showcase event as the running back will reportedly miss the Alabama Crimson Tide's pro day.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Lacy's hamstring injury will keep him out, and no makeup date has been announced:
Lacy is considered to be one of the best running backs in a draft that appears to be bereft of high-quality players at the position. His 140 yards and one touchdown against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the BCS National Championship highlighted what was a very strong 2012 for the running back.
In that game Lacy was able to fend off tacklers quite easily and probably could have run for 200-plus yards had the score been closer.
That performance catapulted him into the national consciousness. It likely played a large part in his decision to forgo his final season at Alabama and enter the draft.
