Eric Wood Injury: Updates on Bills Center’s Leg and Recovery

Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood suffered a broken leg in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks.
The 30-year-old lineman suffered the injury during a Mike Gillislee touchdown run and was eventually carted off the field. The injury will end his season.

Ryan Comments on Wood Injury Tuesday, Nov. 8 "We lost Eric Wood with a broken leg," said Bills coach Rex Ryan after the game. "Tough loss because I think he's the best center in football."
Wood Had Emerged as Top Player for Bills Wood, who had started all nine games this season, is coming off his first Pro Bowl campaign.
After struggling with injuries over his first few years in the league, Wood had been staying healthy lately. He started all 16 games in each of the last three seasons and hasn't missed a game since 2012.
Overall, the 2009 first-round pick has started all 104 games he has appeared in during his eight-year career.
