Free-agent offensive guard Evan Mathis is still on the market following the initial rush of signings in the first few days of the offseason. However, the Arizona Cardinals are reportedly interested in adding the veteran up front.

Cardinals Reportedly Offer Mathis a Contract Tuesday, March 15    Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and NFL.com said the Cardinals were comfortable trading guard Jonathan Cooper to the New England Patriots on Tuesday because Mathis visited them. Rapoport also reported the Cardinals offered a two-year deal for Mathis.
The Patriots announced the trade Rapoport mentioned that sent Cooper and a second-round pick to New England in exchange for defensive end Chandler Jones.
