Flacco Ties for 3rd-Longest Single-Game Completions Streak

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco completed 21 consecutive passes at one point in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, tying for the third-longest single-game streak of its kind in NFL history, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info). He ties with Rich Gannon, who completed 21 straight passes against the Denver Broncos in 2002 while a member of the Oakland Raiders. 
The record of 22 consecutive completions is held by Mark Brunell, who did it for the 2006 Washington Redskins, along with David Carr, who matched Brunell's mark as a member of the Houston Texans later that season, per NFL.com.
If the single-game qualification is removed, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill set a record when he completed 25 straight passes over the course of two games last season, per CBS Sports.
In any case, Flacco somehow had a poor day despite nearly matching a league record, as he ultimately completed 29 of his 40 pass attempts for only 214 yards, ...
