Giants Vs. Vikings: Eli Manning Still Standing for New York Giants

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning doesn't get the respect he deserves, writes Mike Freeman of CBS Sports.
"One reason Eli Manning might be the most underappreciated player in football is because he's a bit of a dork," Freeman writes.
"Not that I'm Denzel Washington, but Manning looks like a cross between Dwight Schrute from The Office and Will Ferrell. Since our society loves airbrushed superficial gooeyness and Us Weekly Bieber boy looks, dorks get dissed."
Freeman points out that Manning is set to start his 100th consecutive game. Back when he first started in 2004, Freeman mentions how other quarterbacks starting then included Quincy Carter, Tim Rattay, Craig Krenzel and Shaun King.
"Eli, at times, simultaneously has the accuracy of his brother, the resiliency of a Muay Thai fighter and hair like Bill Gates," Freeman writes. "He's borderline great despite the fact many in and around the NFL believe he isn't. Only San Francisco's Frank Gore, Atlanta's Roddy ...
