Green Bay Packers: Who Is the Green and Gold’s Dynamic Duo?

The dynamic duo of the Packers Super Bowl run was not Aaron Rodgers and Greg Jennings, nor Clay Matthews and Charles Woodson.
The two people that built and rebuilt this team after injuries tore it down were head coach Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson, the general manager. Both were rewarded with contract extensions earlier in the year and now the details have been released.
Both men will be hanging around Titletown through the 2015 season to see if they can make a dynasty out of this Packers team and bring home a few more Lombardi Trophies.
McCarthy will make about $5 million per year, pushing him into the top-10 of highest-paid coaches, an honor he earned with his performance in 2010.
Thompson will make around $2.5 million each year, a $500,000 raise from his 2008 extension. The Packers are just glad to have him back, because he is already set financially (although who isn't in NFL), and it was thought he might seek a less stressful job elsewhere.
