Greg Jennings Released by Vikings: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Minnesota Vikings announced the release of veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings. He spent two years with the organization after starting his career with the Green Bay Packers.
Minnesota confirmed the roster move via social media on Saturday:
ESPN's Ben Goessling added that the Vikings don't plan to use a post-June 1 designation on Jennings at this time.
Jennings' release comes one day after the Vikings completed a trade with the Miami Dolphins to acquire fellow wideout Mike Wallace. Between their new weapon, the emerging Charles Johnson and what they hope is a rebound year from Cordarrelle Patterson, the group was overcrowded.
The 31-year-old Western Michigan product had just 59 catches for a shade under 750 yards and six touchdowns last year. He's still a reliable target at this stage of his career but far from the 1,000-yard lock he was during his peak seasons in Green Bay.
