Hines Ward Being on Dancing with the Stars Is Laughable

So Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward is going to be on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars". Ward will become the third active player in NFL history to join the show's cast. To me, this is completely laughable.  
I have to ask how would Hines Ward react if a teammate followed a subpar season by appearing on "Dancing With the Stars"? Furthermore, how would Ward react if any other Steeler was on the show after losing in the Super Bowl?
Ward likes to make Steelers fans think he is the ultimate teammate and the ultimate good guy, but the truth is Ward only cares about himself. 
If Troy Polamalu was on the show, after playing some of the worst football of his career in the playoffs and after the losing effort in the Super Bowl, Ward would certainly call him out.
It would have been even worse if Ben Roethlisberger would have been on the show. Ward has already called out Ben before, and he would have certainly done it again if that would have been ...
