Impending 2016 Free Agents Who Can Cash in with Big Super Bowl 50 Performances

Legacies will of course be made in Super Bowl 50, but so will a lot of money. Because as long as the Super Bowl and free agency have coexisted, players from reigning championship teams have hit relative home runs on the open market. 
The term for this phenomenon—coined nearly two decades ago by agent Leigh Steinberg—is a Super Bowl premium.
Just last year, we saw free agents from the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots benefit from the optics associated with helping their team achieve its ultimate goal.
Cornerback Darrelle Revis signed a five-year, $70 million deal with the New York Jets, running back Shane Vereen inked a three-year, $12 million contract with the New York Giants, corner Brandon Browner signed a three-year, $15 million pact with the New Orleans Saints and linebacker Akeem Ayers landed a two-year, $6 million deal with the St. Louis Rams.
