In-Depth Look at Each of the New England Patriots’ 2014 NFL Draft Picks

The New England Patriots had a very intriguing draft this year.
The team brought in a lot of depth across the offensive line, a running back to replace the departed LeGarrette Blount, a quarterback to potentially take the place of Tom Brady when he calls it quits and a first-round defensive end with monstrous potential.
Every year, people look extremely closely at what each new player is going to bring to the team, but there is much more to these young men than that. It is good to know where they come from, what is unique about them and how they are going to fit in with “the Patriot way.” 
I did a bit of digging on all nine prospects selected by the Patriots. There are some really touching stories, along with a lot of hard-working athletes. To describe this draft class in a single word, I would say it's motivated. Each one of these players has overcome obstacles to be either drafted early or just to make it into the NFL in general.
