It's my turn: The Antoine Cason Story
Being drafted  in the first round of the 2008 draft was a goal that Antoine Cason must have been elated to achieve. However, being drafted by the San Diego Chargers must have been a huge deflation. 
As a cornerback, landing in San Diego in 2008 must have felt like a quarterback drafted by the 49ers which had Steve Young and Joe Montana on the roster. Quentin Jammer was the experienced veteran leader, and Antonio Cromartie was the young high flying Pro-Bowl corner who played his opposite. 
Unseating either of them for a starting job, was mission impossible. Cason was as confused as Chargers fans as to why they would draft a cornerback in the first round. First rounders are usually expected to make a sudden impact, not ride the bench.
To his credit, Cason one upped everybody. He worked his way into nickel and dime packages at the safety position. And also to his credit, he did damn well. In his two years...
