Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is dealing with elbow and wrist injuries that will keep him out of the team's Week 13 contest against the Green Bay Packers.

Latest on Clowney's Playing Status Saturday, Dec. 3 Texans PR officially confirmed that Clowney was officially downgraded to out and won't travel with the team.
Durability has been an issue for Clowney ever since the Texans selected him first overall in the 2014 draft. He only played four games as a rookie while battling a knee injury and eventually had microfracture surgery in December 2014.
Last year, Clowney missed three games, with a back injury dogging him in the middle of the season. He finished the year with 4.5 sacks and 40 combined tackles—not the kind of production many expected when he was coming out of college.
