Jake Locker Injury: Updates on Titans QB’s Foot and Recovery

After what was nearly a breakout season in 2013, Jake Locker experienced a Lisfranc injury that ended his season prematurely.    
But with the 2014 NFL season fast approaching, it appears Locker is still on schedule to fully recover from the injury, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean:
Jake Locker remains in a walking boot, but said his recovery is on schedule. He's sked to have hardware removed from rt foot in a few weeks
— Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) March 4, 2014 Locker spoke at the 2014 Nashville Patron Luncheon for the Boy Scouts of America Tuesday, per Amie Wells of TitansOnline.com, and he gave the fans hope of his return as he's still working his way through the recovery stages before hitting the field.
As for the next step Locker hopes to make, Wyatt also shed some light on his plans:
