Four-time Pro Bowler Jake Long remains without a team as the first week of the 2015 regular season draws near. Having now received a clean bill of health, the 30-year-old may soon sort out his future and find a new home.

Long to Meet with Falcons on Wednesday Tuesday, Sept. 8 According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dr. James Andrews, the doctor who performed the surgeries to repair his two torn ACLs, gave Long the go-ahead to resume football activities. As a result, Long has cleared a major hurdle likely preventing him from signing with a new team.
Earlier in the offseason, Long worked out with both the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants.
