Jameis Winston Reportedly Pursuing $750K-Per-Year Apparel Deal

Jameis Winston is approximately two months away from getting his first NFL contract, but the former Florida State quarterback reportedly has begun eyeing other sources of income in the meantime.
According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Winston is seeking $750,000 per year from a deal that includes shoes and other merchandise:
Winston has been busy preparing for the stardom that comes with being a high draft pick and playing in the NFL. On March 3, Rovell reported the 2013 Heisman winner was attempting to trademark "Famous Jameis," his nickname from his Florida State days.
With the explosion in popularity of shoes and authentic merchandise from professional athletes over recent years, Winston's contract demands are certainly in line with other high-profile quarterbacks recently taken high in the draft. 
For example, after the Carolina Panthers selected Cam Newton first overall in 2011, he signed a deal with Under Armour worth more than $1 million per season....
