Jameis Winston made his first start for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday night in a preseason game against the host Minnesota Vikings. The No. 1 overall draft pick looked a little unsure early on but made strides forward before exiting the game at the conclusion of the first half.

Although preseason results are relatively meaningless in the grander scale of an entire season, Winston wasn't approaching his debut with an indifferent attitude.
"My personal goal is to lead the team the right way, to lead us to a victory," he said Friday, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. "There's only so much I can do because I'm probably not going to be playing the whole game. I just want to do the right thing."
