James Jones Reportedly Released by Chargers: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

Veteran wide receiver James Jones is on the market again after the San Diego Chargers released him Monday, according to journalist Annie Heilbrunn.
Jones signed with the Chargers in August in an effort to provide depth to the roster, but the situation didn't work out for him or the organization.
As Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune argued, the unfamiliarity was a reason for his dismissal:
The 32-year-old is coming off a strong season with the Green Bay Packers, finishing with 890 receiving yards on 50 catches and eight touchdowns in 2015. He played in all 16 games, starting 15. This was a continuation of his successful past in Green Bay, where he scored 45 touchdowns over eight seasons, including a career-high 14 in 2012.
