James Starks Injury: Updates on Packers RB’s Recovery from Knee Surgery

Green Bay Packers running back James Starks suffered a knee injury during workouts Oct. 11 and it is unclear when he will return this season following surgery.

Starks Undergoes Surgery Sunday, Oct. 16 Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported that Starks underwent surgery on Sunday morning and will miss a couple of weeks.
Starks Out vs. Cowboys Saturday, Oct. 15 The Packers announced Starks will not play against the Cowboys on Sunday.
Starks' Absence Disrupts Packers' RB Depth Although Starks has largely played in a reserve role during his seven seasons with the Packers, he has been a key contributor thanks to his ability to step in and produce when needed.
The 2016 campaign has been a struggle for Starks, however, as he has gained just 42 yards on 24 carries to go along with six receptions for 50 yards as Eddie Lacy's primary backup.
