Jarvis Jenkins to Jets: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

For the second straight offseason, Jarvis Jenkins found himself looking for work. Now it appears he's found it.
Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reported that Jenkins has agreed to a contract with the New York Jets. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that it's a three-year deal worth $2 million per season.
Jenkins joins a Jets squad led by defensive guru Todd Bowles. It's coming off a promising 10-6 season, and while there are questions revolving around the quarterback situation, the team continues to build on an already-stout defense.
Muhammad Wilkerson, Damon Harrison, Sheldon Richardson and Leonard Williams made up one of the deepest defensive lines in football. With Harrison headed to the Giants, the Jets needed to bring in a player like Jenkins to ensure that they didn't take a step backwards.
