Jarvis Landry Fined for Using Abusive Language Toward Official

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been fined $23,152 by the league for unsportsmanlike conduct, according to NFL.com.
Landry allegedly directed abusive language toward a game official during the fourth quarter of the Dolphins’ loss to the New York Jets on Sunday. The official flagged Landry for unsportsmanlike conduct when Landry was arguing that Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis interfered with him in the end zone, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
This is the first such fine for Landry, per the Sun-Sentinel, who has been one of the few productive cogs in a lackluster Dolphins offense.
Miami ranks 25th in total offense (314.8 yards per game) and 30th in scoring (16.3 points per game). Landry has hauled in 28 catches for 270 yards in addition to his role as a return specialist, in which he scored the game-winning touchdown against the Washington Redskins in Week 1 on a 69-yard punt return.
