Jeremiah Ratliff Allegedly Threatened Bears Employees Prior to Release

Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff reportedly called himself the devil and told team staffers he wished their children would die, one day before he was released on Oct. 22.
TMZ Sports obtained a police report providing details of the incident, during which Ratliff is alleged to have told somebody "he felt like killing everybody in the building." He hasn't been charged with a crime, however.
The police report also states Bears officials expressed concern for the safety of the staff because they believe Ratliff owns multiple firearms. The team requested a police presence for the rest of the day, and there were no further problems, per TMZ Sports.
The Associated Press reports the troublesome comments came on the same day the lineman was seen having a heated discussion with general manager Ryan Pace in the parking lot. Head coach John Fox reiterated Friday that people in the facility were worried.
