Jeremy Kerley Injury: Updates on Jets WR’s Concussion and Return

Jeremy Kerley isn't having a good offseason. First, Brandon Marshall's arrival forced him to slip down the depth chart. Now, the 26-year-old could potentially miss the New York Jets' next preseason game after suffering an injury Friday night.

Kerley One of Three Jets Players with Concussion in Win over Atlanta Falcons Friday, Aug. 21 Jets head coach Todd Bowles confirmed after a 30-22 victory Friday that Kerley has a concussion, per Kimberley A. Martin of Newsday. Martin added that Daryl Richardson and Durell Eskridge suffered concussions as well against the Atlanta Falcons.
For Kerley, making a good impression on the new head coach is important. New York may have signed him to a four-year, $16 million extension less than a year ago, but he has to fight for every bit of playing time he can get in 2015.
