Jeremy Maclin, James O’Shaughnessy Post-Preseason Week 2 Fantasy Advice

Friday night offered another look at Jeremy Maclin in a Kansas City Chiefs uniform, and so far the early returns are encouraging. 
As expected, Maclin didn't play much past the first quarter of what proved to be a 14-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks, but he was effective when he was on the field. You can view his stats below:
His touchdown grab was notable since it ended an over yearlong drought for Alex Smith (via the NFL):
Bleacher Report's Cian Fahey also liked the ways in which Andy Reid used his newest wideout:
Maclin is undoubtedly a big upgrade for the Chiefs and helps their passing attack, but your fantasy expectations for him should be somewhat tempered. Only once in his six-year career has he eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving, and you don't envision him posting gaudy numbers with Smith as his quarterback.
The 27-year-old is a great flex option if you can snag him that late in the draft.
