Jeremy Mincey Injury: Updates on Cowboys DE’s Recovery from Elbow Surgery

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey played with bone spurs near his right elbow throughout the 2015 season, and the soon-to-be free agent is now on the mend following surgery.

Mincey Posts Confirmation of Surgery Wednesday, Feb. 17 David Helman of the team's official website relayed news of Mincey's surgery shortly after the pass-rusher posted a picture on Instagram confirming he underwent a procedure: 
After leading Dallas with six sacks during the 2014 season, Mincey was hampered by bone spurs to such a degree that he told reporters he hadn't been able to properly straighten out his arm since before the 2015 campaign got underway, per Helman. He went on to finish with 11 solo tackles and no sacks as Dallas floundered in the NFC East cellar.
