Jerry Rice Jr. Participated in Pro Day Workout with San Francisco 49ers

Jerry Rice spent much of his Hall of Fame career with the San Francisco 49ers, and his son got a chance to show the organization what he could do at the 49ers' pro day.
According to the 49ers' website, Jerry Rice Jr. was one of 64 prospects who took part in the workout. The younger Rice didn't have gaudy college numbers, but the workout gave him a chance to show what he can do.
Rice Jr. had nine catches for 69 yards in three seasons with the UCLA Bruins before transferring to UNLV. He caught 11 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown in his senior season with the Rebels.
The elder Rice played 238 games over 16 seasons with San Francisco. He hauled in 1,281 passes for 19,247 yards and 176 touchdowns while with the team, and those numbers helped him make 12 Pro Bowls as a 49er.
