Jets vs. Colts: Can Nick Folk Be The Jets Answer To Adam Vinateri's Field Goal?
Adam Vinatieri gave the Indianapolis Colts a lead with just under a minute left in the game after he made a 50-yard field goal.
The Colts kicker is no stranger to clutch kicking situations for Indianapolis.
Now that the ball is in the hands of the New York Jets, Nick Folk is the guy expected to win the game for the Jets with his right leg.
And that's exactly what he did with three seconds left in the clock.  The Jets won the game 17-16.
With this loss, the Colts will not be making return appearance in this year's Super Bowl.
Interestingly, last year's champs the New Orleans Saints, have also fallen out of contention after losing to the Seattle Seahawks earlier today.
In one day, both teams who appeared in the Super Bowl last year are now out of the playoffs.
The Saints were clear favorites in their game, while the Colts were also favorites to win at home.
