Jimmy Clausen Gives Carolina Panthers a Quarterback with a Receiver Attitude

After being selected 48th overall in this year's draft, quarterback Jimmy Clausen is already flaunting his bruised ego.
It didn't take long for the new member of the Carolina Panthers to sneak in a cocky comment after being drafted.
"I just want to tell you that you guys made the best pick in the draft," Clausen said to the media in regards to his second round selection. He had been projected in the top 10 picks by most experts.
This display of behavior seems more apt to wide receivers. That group of divas are usually the proclaimers of such statements.
However, as some expected, Clausen's brash attitude followed him out of Notre Dame and into the pros. This coupled with his historic fall in the draft was the needed catalyst for an unneeded proclamation.
He followed it up by saying, "My goal is to try to be the starter from Day One."
