Joe Berger Injury: Updates on Vikings Center’s Concussion and Return

The Minnesota Vikings are without the anchor of their offensive line after center Joe Berger was evaluated for a concussion during the team's Thanksgiving matchup against the Detroit Lions, per the team.

Updates on Berger's Playing Status Thursday, Nov. 24 Berger was ruled out for the rest of the game against the Lions, per the Vikings.
Berger has been a staple on Minnesota's offensive line since signing with the team in 2011. Last season marked the first time he started all 16 games since being drafted in 2005. 
In December, Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus named Berger the NFL's most underrated player for his work last season after he tied for the best overall grade among centers with the Dallas Cowboys' Travis Frederick. 
It's rare a player in his mid-30s hits his peak, but the 34-year-old needed a chance and ran with it after he got one.
