Joe Flacco Injury: Updates on Ravens Star’s Shoulder and Return

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is nursing a shoulder injury that has put his status for Sunday's game against the New York Jets in question.

Latest on Flacco's Practice Status Wednesday, Oct. 19 Flacco missed practice on Wednesday with what head coach John Harbaugh described as a right (throwing) shoulder issue. 
"I believe he has a legitimate chance to play," Harbaugh said, per the team's official Twitter account. 
Flacco tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee during the final minute of the Ravens' 16-13 Week 11 win over the St. Louis Rams last season, but he's been healthy ever since he returned for the start of the 2016 campaign. 
Now in his ninth NFL season, Flacco has completed 62.1 percent of his passes for 1,589 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions in an offense that hasn't been able to take advantage of his big arm and create explosive plays downfield.
