Joe Haden Injury: Updates on Browns Star’s Recovery from Ankle Surgery

Cleveland Browns star cornerback Joe Haden underwent offseason ankle surgery after battling through an injury-plagued 2015 season.

Haden Expected to be Ready for Start of 2016 Season Friday, March 18 An official medical update from the Browns confirmed Haden underwent surgery and noted that the cornerback "is expected to resume football activities during training camp."
The team's update also explained Haden was inactive for eight games last season due to ankle, rib, finger and head injuries. The ankle injury occurred during the Browns' Week 8 meeting with the Arizona Cardinals. 
After suffering a concussion, Haden was placed on injured reserve Dec. 14 before clearing the league's concussion protocol Jan. 12.
