Joe Philbin Named Colts OL Coach: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Former Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin is joining the Indianapolis Colts coaching staff after being hired Friday as the team's new offensive line coach. 
The Colts confirmed a deal is in place for the 54-year-old coach to take over the reins after the Colts finished last season ranked tied for 15th with 37 sacks allowed. 
Aaron Nagler of FanDuel noted Philbin's career has come full circle following a failed head coaching stint: 
Philbin was rumored to be in the running for the New York Giants' vacant offensive coordinator gig, according to Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News, so his move to Indianapolis comes as a bit of a surprise. The Boston Globe's Ben Volin noted that he has a previous relationship with Colts cornerback Vontae Davis dating back to their time together with the Dolphins.
