John Elway’s Advice for Trevor Siemian Revealed Before Panthers vs. Broncos

Trevor Siemian faces pressure as the starting quarterback for the reigning Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos, but general manager John Elway put things in perspective.
According to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, Elway said: "Just go out and play. Don't worry about making mistakes. Don't worry about turnovers. You're going to make mistakes. But just bounce back."
Siemian, a second-year player, beat out Mark Sanchez (now with the Cowboys) and first-round rookie Paxton Lynch for Denver's starting job. He will be under center when Denver opens its season against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
Siemian, a seventh-rounder out of Northwestern, did plenty to earn his position as the Broncos starter during the preseason:
