Johnny Manziel Injury: Updates on Browns QB’s Elbow and Return

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is "experiencing soreness in his right throwing elbow," according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, which forced him to leave practice early on Sunday.

Pettine Comments on Manziel's Injury and ReturnSunday, Aug. 23"We're not anticipating it being a long-term thing, hopefully, because it will be two days' rest, having Tuesday off, so I'll know a little bit more when I get some feedback from (trainer) Joe Sheehan," Browns head coach Mike Pettine said after practice, courtesy of Cabot.
"Manziel came back to the sidelines after a nice completion to Josh Lenz in 11-on-11s and pointed to the inside of his forearm near the elbow," observed Cabot.
