Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel's off-field reputation took another hit Saturday, as he was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend.
According to Omar Villafranca of CBS News, police in Fort Worth, Texas, confirmed the incident but said the signal-caller was not arrested:
Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal provided a statement from Fort Worth Police:
Per Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer, the Browns declined to comment on the police report.
"We are aware of it and looking into it," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said, per Cabot.
Ulrich provided a statement from Dallas police, who say they are investigating the matter:
The 23-year-old former Heisman Trophy winner threw for 1,500 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions in six starts (nine games) for the Browns this season.
