Jon Bon Jovi Denies Rumors of Interest in Tennessee Titans

Famed musician Jon Bon Jovi stated Tuesday he's not involved with any groups that could potentially purchase the NFL's Tennessee Titans.  
Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com reported over the weekend that Bon Jovi remains "eager" to become an NFL owner and "continues to work behind the scenes" to make it possible, including interest in the Titans. There are questions about whether he could receive enough financial backing, though.
Bon Jovi replied to the rumors on social media and downplayed the buzz, writing: "Rumors of my interest in the [Tennessee] Titans are nothing more than that. I am not part of any group perusing a team that is not for sale."
The 53-year-old singer was previously linked to the Buffalo Bills in 2014, per Mike Ozanian of Forbes.com, which raised fears in the area that he could move the team north to Toronto. The Pegula family, which also owns the NHL's Buffalo Sabres, ultimately won the bidding to keep the team in Buffalo.
