Jonathan Grimes Re-Signs with Texans: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

Running back Jonathan Grimes is heading back to the Houston Texans after he signed a one-year deal with the team on Friday, according to his agent Sunny Shah. 
Grimes appeared in 14 games for the Texans and rushed for 282 yards as Houston's third option behind Alfred Blue and Chris Polk after Arian Foster missed 12 games due to injury last season.  
Grimes will be returning to an offense that has undergone some big changes already this offseason. On March 3, the Texans released their franchise rushing leader in Foster after injuries continually left Houston in a bind. 
Over the past three seasons, Foster missed 23 games and the Texans were forced to roll out second-tier backs like Ben Tate in 2013 along with Polk and Blue last year. 
In 2015, Polk and Blue combined for 1,042 yards, but averaged just 3.6 yards per carry. Grimes on the other hand averaged 5.0 yards per rush on 56 attempts.
