Jordan Reed Injury: Updates on Redskins TE’s Concussion and Return

The Washington Redskins announced Wednesday that tight end Jordan Reed was being evaluated for a potential concussion. His official playing status for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles has yet to be announced.

Gruden Comments on Reed Injury Wednesday, Oct. 12 "I don't think in those terms, and I'm not considering it a concussion until we get all the results right now," Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said, referring to past injuries. "You know, he just had some symptoms, it doesn't mean it is. We just want to make sure we take the right steps."
Reed's Injury History Only Thing Holding Back Elite TE Wildly effective when he's been on the field throughout his career, Reed has dealt with injuries in all three of his NFL seasons. He has never played more than 14 games and has missed a total of 14 regular-season games.
An ankle injury already held Reed out of minicamp, and he missed additional time in the preseason due to a thumb injury.<...
