Josh Scobee to Steelers: Latest Trade Details, Comments and Reaction

Josh Scobee's 11-year run with the Jacksonville Jaguars is over. The team agreed Monday to send its longtime kicker to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a late-round pick.  
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and ESPN's Adam Schefter, citing 1010 AM/92.5 FM, passed along the news. Scobee, 33, has spent each of his 11 NFL seasons in Jacksonville after being selected in the fifth round in 2004. He was by far the longest-tenured veteran on the team and among the longest in the NFL as a whole.
The Jaguars' decision to move on from Scobee means they'll be turning over the position to rookie Jason Myers, who was a four-year starter at Marist College. Myers connected on four of his five preseason attempts, including a long of 55 yards.
Scobee hit on both of his preseason attempts and made his three extra point tries. He is coming off of one of the worst seasons of his career, as the veteran made 20 of his 26 attempts in 2014. For his career, Scobee has knocked down 80.8 per...
