Julius Thomas Injury: Updates on Jaguars TE’s Elbow and Return

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas has been dealing with an elbow injury, which first appeared on the injury report on Sept. 28. It is uncertain when he will be ready to return to the field.

Jaguars Need Thomas Healthy to Revive 2016 Season A major offseason signing for Jacksonville in 2015, Thomas' first season with the Jaguars was mired by injuries. He missed the season's first four games with a broken finger and dealt with a nagging groin injury in the middle of the year. 
When Thomas has been in the lineup, his production has paled in comparison to his Denver days. The Portland State product made 46 receptions for 455 yards, posting three or fewer receptions in seven games in 2015. Through three games this season, Thomas has recorded 11 receptions for 148 yards and one touchdown.
