Kam Chancellor Injury: Updates on Seahawks Safety’s Hip Surgery and Recovery

The "Legion of Boom" might have to wait for one of its hardest-hitting players to recover before the secondary can be in full force once again.    
Kam Chancellor, strong safety for the 2014 Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, has a hip injury that will require surgery during the offseason. John Clayton of ESPN reports that the surgery will clear up a minor problem and provided more details in his report:
The procedure is not considered to be major and is not as severe as the surgery that kept wide receiver Percy Harvin out for most of last season.
The date of the surgery hasn't been scheduled.
Although Chancellor took to Twitter to show his fans that he doesn't know about any type of surgery: 
Chancellor, known by his teammates and Seattle fanbase as "Bam Bam," established himself as one of the premier safeties in the league during the 2013 season for the Seahawks.
