As Kam Chancellor seeks a new contract from the Seattle Seahawks, it appears other teams are keeping tabs on the veteran safety's potential availability.

Giants-Seahawks Reportedly Discussed Chancellor, Safety Hasn't Been Informed of Potential Deal Saturday, Sept. 5 According to Jordan Raanan of NJ.com, the New York Giants have called the Seahawks about a deal for Chancellor. 
"They've inquired about and expressed serious interest in the availability of Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor, an individual with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media," Raanan wrote. 
Raanan's report does state the talks were "only preliminary," so nothing is imminent or even necessarily likely to happen. 
Despite the reported talks, Josina Anderson of ESPN said Chancellor had "not been informed of any interested trade partners at this time."
