Kansas City Chiefs: Head Coach Todd Haley Not Gracious in Blowout Loss

At the conclusion of yesterday's embarrassing loss at the hands of division rival Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs head Todd Haley was none too pleased with his counterpart on the other side, Josh McDaniels.
At mid-field, instead of the traditional shaking of hands and a few words, Haley pointed at McDaniels and said a few choice words that I'm sure weren't encouraging.
When asked by reporters what he said, Haley called it a private moment between the two coaches.
I understand that Haley was mad because the Broncos, after jumping out their big lead, kept on passing the ball on offense and continued blitzing on defense, but in the NFL (especially this season), no lead is safe.
Also, what is with the stigma of running up the score? Why should one team dial back their game plan because the other can't stop it?
After all, what if the Broncos had started playing soft and the Chiefs began a come back and the Broncos couldn't get their offense going again?
