Karlos Williams Suspended for Drug Policy Violation: Latest Details, Reaction

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Karlos Williams has been suspended 10 games by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy.  
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Williams' suspension. Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette confirmed it, adding Williams will begin serving it immediately. 
Williams looked like a future star after a successful rookie season with the Buffalo Bills in 2015. He had 517 yards and seven touchdowns on 93 carries in 11 games while serving as the primary backup to LeSean McCoy. 
This year has been a professional disaster for Williams. It started in training camp when he showed up overweight, which he told reporters (via ESPN.com's Mike Rodak) was the result of sympathy eating during his girlfriend's pregnancy:
It definitely is a first, but I like to eat, and then her being pregnant gave me an excuse to eat, so eating anything and everything. She'd wake up one or two o'clock. 'I want a snack.' Well...
