Kellen Moore Won’t Have a Successful Career Despite Earning Lions Roster Spot

Kellen Moore has won a spot on the roster for the Detroit Lions. Big deal. He isn't going to have a long career and hasn't looked like an NFL caliber quarterback at all during the preseason. 
The former Boise State quarterback who posted a career record that is best in NCAA history still doesn't have the talent to make it past third string on any NFL depth chart. It can even be argued that the 50-3 record that he posted was due to the defense and talent around him more than his own performances.
Matthew Stafford has been ready and willing to give him an endorsement as he was quoted by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press:
"I think Kellen played great all preseason," quarterback Matthew Stafford said after the 38-32 victory. "He's a smart kid, (the) guy's just a winner. He knows how to play the game, he gets in there in practice, and practice doesn't slow down. He's up there calling plays, he's never fumbling stuff around and doing normal rookie stuff. I've be...
