Kellen Winslow vs. Antonio Gates: Debating the Top Chargers Tight End

A while back, I wrote an article comparing Dan Fouts to Philip Rivers, as the Top Chargers Quarterback. It was met with a great deal of speculation being as Fouts has played in over double the games Rivers played in.
There was a good deal of math involved , statistics were pretty good, but the rest was merely prediction. However, it was interesting to see how the two go head-to-head.
So, I sought to do the same when comparing the careers of Antonio Gates and Kellen Winslow. This is where I found a pleasant surprise. Each of them has played in 109 professional games.
Alas, I can leave prediction aside, leave the calculator on the desk and go directly to the scorecards. Or in this case, stat cards, and compare two careers that fall on any bodies top 10 tight end list. Let the Games begin:
