Kevin Kolb Era Finally Looks to Come to a Close for Arizona Cardinals

It wasn't a surprise when the Arizona Cardinals cut Kevin Kolb on March 15 rather than pay him a $2 million roster bonus. New coach, new general manager, new system.
The Cardinals and Kolb's agent had been trying to restructure Kolb's deal but were unable to come to an agreement. It made sense for both sides, and it seemed like the Cardinals left the door open for him to come back at a reduced rate.
Now comes word from ESPN's Adam Schefter that Kolb is on the verge of joining the Buffalo Bills. If the deal is finalized, it will finally close the Kolb era in Arizona, which started with high expectations and ended with the Cardinals cleaning house this January.
It wasn't that Kolb was terrible in his time in the desert; it was simply that he couldn't stay on the field, and the Cardinals are partially responsible for that. Kolb was only able to start 14 of 32 games for Arizona, mostly due to injuries suffered playing behind a poor offensive line.
