NFL training camps are the next phase before the 2012 NFL season gets underway. Each team has key veteran players that could easily ride the pine by the time the season kicks off. 
Sure, NFL OTA's and minicamps may be ongoing, but they are just an appetizer before training camps begin in late July. 
Training camp can be the most vital part to the season for many NFL teams as rookies cut their teeth, veterans look to stay on top and teams start to develop chemistry. 
The NFL is a dog-eat-dog world, and every year experienced veterans are displaced by younger players who display an added dimension and youthful exuberance. 
Seeing fan favorites fall to the latest NFL youth movement can be a bitter pill to swallow, however, seeing future stars blossom is also always invigorating. 
As training camp nears, keep an eye on these key veterans as they fight for their NFL lives.
