Kirk Cousins Trade Rumors: Latest Buzz, Speculation Surrounding Redskins QB

Kirk Cousins will be taking snaps as starting quarterback for the Washington Redskins when the 2015 season starts Sunday, but that didn't stop teams from calling about his availability during the preseason.

Jets Tried to Acquire Cousins Sunday, Sept. 13 NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported hours before Washington's season opener that another quarterback-needy team inquired about Cousins:
Rapoport added that the Jets made other calls, not just limited to Cousins, but that Washington didn't discuss trading the 27-year-old. 
The quarterback situations in New York and Washington are a mess. The Jets lost Geno Smith to a broken jaw in a dispute with former teammate IK Enemkpali. Veteran journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick will be leading the offense to start the season.
