Landry Sets Record with 194 Catches Through 2 Seasons

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry owns the record for most receptions through the first two seasons of a player's career, with his 194 catches smashing the old mark of 168 that was set by New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston in 2006 and 2007, per Jim Kleinpeter of the Times-Picayune.
Colston actually now sits third in the record book, as Landry's college teammate and 2014 NFL draft classmate Odell Beckham Jr. is sitting on 187 receptions through two seasons.
Although the close friends have both quickly ascended to star status in the NFL, there's no question that Beckham's star shines quite a bit brighter, with his number of receptions complemented by a slew of touchdowns, long gains and highlight-reel catches.
It's not that Landry isn't capable of his own spectacular catches, but he has averaged just 9.9 yards per reception so far, with only nine receiving touchdowns in 32 games.
