Lardarius Webb, Ravens Agree to New Contract: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

Cornerback Lardarius Webb has been a Baltimore Ravens lifer throughout his NFL career, and that will still be the case after Tuesday’s contract news.  
Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reported, per a league source, that the Ravens restructured Webb’s contract.

Webb has played six seasons in the NFL and has 11 career interceptions. He peaked in 2011 when he tallied five picks and played in all 16 games, but there is something to be said for holding on to a player who already understands the defensive schemes and plays during the free-agency period.
Webb is 29 years old and should still have a couple of more years of prime production ahead of him.
